We do not sell your information.
We have never sold, rented, or traded personal information, and we do not intend to. We share it only with the companies that have to handle it to get your order made and delivered, and only as much of it as they need.This policy explains what we collect when you use brandedelegance.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Branded Elegance™ is a brand of SME Marketing LLC, a Georgia limited liability company, which is the controller of the personal information described here.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, government ID numbers, Social Security numbers, date of birth, or any special category of data such as health, religion or political views. Please do not send them to us.
03Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card details are entered into fields hosted by Stripe and go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection.
Your full card number never reaches our website or our server, and we could not store it even if we wanted to. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, plus the last four digits and card brand for reconciling orders.
Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 service provider and handles your card data under its own privacy policy, at stripe.com/privacy.
04What is stored in your browser
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.
The site stores two things locally in your own browser using local storage. Neither is a cookie, and neither is transmitted to us until you act:
- Your cart. The items, leather colours and branding choices you have selected. This is how your cart survives moving to the checkout page. It stays on your device and is only sent to us when you place the order.
- An upload reference. A random code that links artwork you upload at checkout to the order you are about to place. It contains nothing about you.
You can clear both at any time by clearing your browser's site data. Doing so empties your cart.
Our web fonts are served by Google Fonts. Loading them means your IP address and browser details are seen by Google, as with any site using that service. Google states it does not use Fonts requests to build advertising profiles.
05How we use it
- To take, make, proof, and ship your order, and to take payment for it.
- To contact you about that order — proofs, questions, delays, tracking.
- To handle returns, replacements and warranty questions.
- To keep records we are required to keep for tax and accounting.
- To protect the site from fraud and abuse.
- To send occasional news about products and offers, but only if you asked us to.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you that have legal effects.
07We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for money or for their own marketing purposes. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the past twelve months, and we have no plans to.
If that ever changed, we would update this policy and give you a way to opt out before it took effect.
08Your artwork and monograms
Artwork you upload is stored on our server outside the publicly accessible part of the site, so it cannot be reached by a web address. It is also emailed to our production mailbox so the file can be prepared for the laser.
We keep it on file so you can reorder without resending it. You can ask us to delete your artwork at any time — email us with your order number and we will remove it, subject to any record we must keep for tax purposes.
We will not use your logo or artwork publicly if you tell us not to. See section 12 of the Terms of Service.
10How long we keep it
- Order records: at least seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it.
- Artwork: until you ask us to delete it.
- Newsletter addresses: until you unsubscribe.
- Abandoned uploads: deleted automatically after fourteen days.
- Server logs: as long as our host retains them, typically a matter of weeks.
11How we protect it
- The whole site is served over HTTPS; traffic between your browser and us is encrypted.
- Card data never reaches our systems. Stripe handles it end to end.
- Order records, artwork and our list are stored outside the web root with restrictive file permissions, so no web address will serve them.
- Payment credentials and configuration are kept out of the website's public files entirely.
- Uploads are restricted by file type and size, filenames are rebuilt rather than trusted, and uploads and signups are rate-limited to resist automated abuse.
- Order totals are recalculated on our server, so prices cannot be altered in the browser.
- Access to order records is limited to those who need it to fulfil your order.
No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever affected your personal information, we would notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
12Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it, where we are not required to keep it;
- send you a copy in a portable format;
- stop sending you marketing.
Email info@brandedelegance.com and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity first, usually by confirming details of a recent order. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
California residents
Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what we collect and why, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As set out in section 7, we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit.
Other state privacy laws
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Utah, have similar rights and may appeal a refusal by replying to our decision. Contact us the same way.
13Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it. Orders may only be placed by adults aged 18 or over.
14Do Not Track
Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal, but there is no agreed standard for responding to it. We do not track you across other websites in the first place, so there is nothing for the signal to change.
15Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle information already collected from you, we will make a clear notice on the site, and where required we will ask for your consent.
